What's Included
- ✓Chain slack measured against manufacturer spec
- ✓Tension adjusted at the rear wheel or adjuster bolts
- ✓Rear wheel alignment check
- ✓Chain lubricated and rechecked
Starting at $75. A simple adjustment is a flat rate by vehicle type. A full chain & sprocket install (final drive work) is billed per hour by vehicle type — see the full breakdown below.
Why and When You Need It
Proper chain tension and alignment reduce wear and prevent safety issues — too tight strains the wheel and drive shaft, too loose wears out the sprocket and gears. We also install and replace chain and sprocket sets when it's time; it's a good idea to do both together.
